Fraud Prevention Officer

Dear Malmesbury Town and Parish Councils

I am writing to introduce myself as Wiltshire Police’s Fraud Protect Officer.  Some of you already know me as the Area Officer for Malmesbury and the surrounding villages.

This is a new role which tackles all kind of fraud within our communities.  We all know someone who has uncovered a scam, have been targeted by a scam or fallen victim themselves and sadly this is on the increase.  My role is to educate and offer prevention advice to our citizens, especially the vulnerable from financial harm.
